Pediatrix Urgent Care, Tanglewood

Excelent as always, specially the Dr Sara. They are fast and always cares about their patients

For one, it’s an “urgent” care place and the word urgency would get offended if it new it was associated with this place—for that matter, same would apply for administrative professionalism, helpfulness,  ease, and care.  I’m only taking the time to provide constructive feedback because I was so frustrated.  I’m just gonna randomly rant.  So, apparently you have to take 20 minutes to schedule an appointment for “urgent” care.  Then, as I try to keep a 12 month old who’s in pain and screaming calm corralled in my arms (alone) and comforted, I have to spend another 20 minutes “completing” my paperwork ON MY PHONE (again, with a whaling and flailing 1 y/o)—absolutely zero help, empathy, or assistance.  Then the application or whatever asked for the PATIENT’S ID—he’s TWELVE MONTHS OLD.  Then apparently that means my ID—a picture of front and back, with MY PHONE with my screaming child in hand as well.  Same with insurance.  No help or empathy given.  There was more but I’m not wasting more time.  One more, as I was filling out this 20 minute paperwork on my phone, it asked for the preferred pharmacy TWICE—they did not send it to that pharmacy that I entered twice and instead somewhere twenty minutes away from me.

It was easy to schedule an appointment and they did a great job with my autistic 3 year old.

Brought my niece in cause she had this what looked like a rash. She was barely examined and was told she had diaper dermatitis and an ear infection. However the next day the baby was getting worse and took her to a children’s ER and was told she had hand foot and mouth disease!!! Which is very contagious!!!!! The poor baby had sores in her mouth. If the practitioner had did a full examination this would have been caught!! We will never be back or recommend this place!!!! And the ER doc did not find any evidence of an ear infection!!!

I needed to see a medical professional regarding my son’s allergies and asthma. It started on a weekend but the pediatric clinic that we go is closed on the weekends and I needed to go to an urgent care. I love the way I can schedule the time and day on the weekend and it was a quick and on point experience. My son says he got better after the visit. Always recommend.

My newborn baby had an allergic reaction and I was so scared. The entire care team from check in to the doctor were amazing. I truly appreciate the reassurance we’re doing fine and these things happen with baby detergents more often than not.

Really appreciated the kind staff and also the doctor gave some additional tips about ways to help clear up symptoms in addition to the prescribed medicine.
