NeuMed Urgent Care + IV Therapy, Houston Heights

I was distraught. Bed bug bites from NYC. Md response was Definitely bites, per md. Asked for some documentation of bites, md was somewhat reluctant and provided generic bites statement. Fleas, others cited ... My discomfort was a big deal to me. Walked out with script for weak antibiotics, which he was skeptical would be helpful...probably true. No script for anti itch cortisone cream. Nice guy... maybe extensive bed bug bites is not a big deal. Just endure it was message

I am so grateful for this urgent care! My whole family comes here to beat the ridiculous waits and horrific service elsewhere! It feels more like a spa than a clinic.

Everyone was very nice and the nurse practitioner was excellent!

My experience was pretty good I got attended very well for the staff, I had to wait a little bit long to get my X Rays, but it was worth it since the girl who came to take my X Rays was pretty sweet and diligent. Thanks y'all

This is a great place! I loved it here. Check- in was easy. Staff was super friendly. Everything went well. I will come back again.

2nd time at this facility. Short wait time, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Prefer this facility for non-emergency events.

Great experience

I have been to this facility a couple of times now, and I have to say that after this time, I won't be returning. The woman working the front desk was not helpful, and told me that they no longer take my insurance (despite them still being listed as an in network provider by my insurance company). Essentially, the woman didn't want to go through the motions of filing an insurance claim for me, so now I will need to do it myself and be reimbursed. The RN I saw was really nice, good bedside manner, but not enough to offset the rest of the experience. I'll go to one of the other bazillion urgent care clinics who can handle filing my insurance for me.

I tried using the urgent care side of their business and was very disappointed. I filled out the recommended paperwork prior to arriving. I submitted my healthcare coverage as well prior to arrival. Once I arrived, the lady at the front desk could not get my insurance to work. I have United Healthcare, most places take United. She did not make a call to my provider to try to figure this out. The lady at the front desk said to try somewhere else. I did, and I recommend the new Memorial Hermann urgent care directly across the street. Much faster and efficient. The staff was much more solutions oriented.

First and last. After waiting 10 minutes for my scheduled appointment they let two unscheduled patients walk in and be seen without an appointment. Staff was rude and couldn't wait to get back on her phone.
